Atlanta, Georgia (2016)

Gamma Phi Beta Convention

ATL First off, thank you to my chapter for allowing me to experience Gamma Phi Beta Convention 2016. It was very enlightening to see how our sorority works on an International level. I was able to meet sorority sisters from all over the nation (plus Canada) in the city of [very] Hotlanta. Unforunately I wasn't able to experience all that ATL has to offer because of the extensive amount of business we accomplished, but I was able to visit: the World of Coca Cola, Centennial Olympic Park, Spelman and Morehouse College, Sweet Georgia's Juke Joint, and the Peachtree Mall (of course). I learned so many new things about my sorority, Atlanta, and the south in general--like the fact that you can't buy alcohol after 12am on a Saturday night (not like I was trying to anyway, but it's an interesting fact to know). Although the south has some interesting laws, the southern hospitality was very appreciated and this is something I will never forget.

Sidenote: Shoutout to Katie Quinn for being my model and practicing your new found photography skills on me, no matter how much you hated it.
