About Dérive
A dérive (French: [de.ʁiv], "drift") is an unplanned journey through a landscape, usually urban, on which the subtle aesthetic
contours of the surrounding architecture and geography subconsciously direct the travelers, with the ultimate goal of encountering an entirely new and authentic experience.
All of the photos are taken with an iPhone (sometimes a GoPro), and are meant to be presented in a more aesthetically pleasing manner other than traditional social media platforms.
About Me
My name is Taylor Gonzalez and I am a student at the University of San Diego. I have always enjoyed taking pictures of the world around me--and having pictures taken of me (obviously not conceited at all). I am majoring in International Business and minoring in Leadership Studies.
The pictures on this website were taken by me or others on my iPhone and represent the many different experiences I have encountered in life. I will soon be traveling abroad and wanted to have an outlet where I could post all of my pictures without it getting annoying.
I apologize for the possible annoying amount of selfies/pictures of me, but if they look cool, they get posted.
